Hey everyone- So at a random time while I was about play Xbox Live CoD: Modern Warfare, I experience an E71 error. I looked up this error and found that it was a "Dashboard Error - Error within Xam.xex: possibly a dashboard update error." I then looked at fixes, then I tried one method after I experienced the E71 error (clearing the cache on the hard drive: X+X+LB+RB+X+X), and I tried playing multiple games including Modern Warfare again, only this time there wasn't an E71 error. Every single time I try to play a game, it freezes or it freezes while it was about to display the "This disc is unreadable." message. There are no scratches of any type on any of my discs that I tried to play. Then I try the second method to try and fix this problem (Holding the small white "sync" button until my console has completely powered on) but I got the same issue of the games freezing. Recently, I must say that I flashed the firmware from my non-working drive to my newly bought replacement drive so the replacement drive would work with my Xbox. Everything was fine after I flashed the firmware until now (I had no errors, no circular scratching which was my previous problem, etc.). What is happening??? HELP!!!

Why wont any demos I download work from XBOX Live?

I first tried downloading ufc undisputed and it wont download past 11%. I keep getting an error code telling me to try again later. Then I downloaded the Madden 2010 demo which did download but wont load when I go to play it. It will say disk unreadable. Please give me any suggestions on why my xbox will not download demos.

so my old xbox 360 went down to the RRoD and it was one of the first ones and it lasted nearly 3 years but then i got the E74 error. and i am a big gaming fan so i like to play computer games as well but my computer right now isn't very great and i would like to get star craft 2 when it comes out, but i have about 8-10 xbox360 games that would go to waste if i didn't get another xbox 360.

holes in solder points on motherboard?
